“So, you must be the one Wyndel has been so secretive about. I must admit, finding out you were alive was interesting, but he has never said a word about you, Skywalker. Not even a simple… mention… interesting how he brings you back, yes?”
Rey eyed him curiously, “…You’re Wyndel’s son?” She asked, though she could almost sense it. Maybe she was getting stronger with the Force.
“With that reasoning…why wouldn’t I have an advantage?” She asked, tilting her head. “I’ve trained with him as well, shouldn’t I know a few things? Considering our intimacy?”
“You are right about that.” He stated with a chuckle, “You would be right about, but I doubt you know everything.”
“However, has he ever told you how he has so many scars on his arms?” It was more of a question to see just how much she knew than anything else as he took a step forward, “Understand be when I say this; If you ever think I will accept you as anything more than an Enemy of the Order? You are wrong.”
Rey eyed him curiously, “…You’re Wyndel’s son?” She asked, though she could almost sense it. Maybe she was getting stronger with the Force.
“He told me..” Rey glanced to the side. Sure it was true he was much older than she was…but they had a connection she couldn’t shake. Maybe it wasn’t right…but she didn’t overly care.
“I don’t think you’d have the ability to.” She stated evenly. “I’ve beaten Kylo before.” Sure…he’d been wounded, but it still counted.
He was just about to comment on his Father, but then he rubbed at his chin, “Yes, I know what you have done, and I know all about what happened on Star Killer.”
There was a pause, “However, I am quite sure I can handle you. After-all? I was trained by my Father. Who.. you clearly are intimate with.”
Rey eyed him curiously, “…You’re Wyndel’s son?” She asked, though she could almost sense it. Maybe she was getting stronger with the Force.
“He hasn’t used that name around me…” She said, mostly to herself.
“He’s still looking for me?” She asked, shaking her head, of course he was, but she didn’t quite understand why. “Why so concerning?”
“It’s concerning due to the fact you’re with him. Do you even know how old he is?” He asked with an eyebrow raised, “You’re both wanted by the First Order and I? I could bring you in. Kylo would enjoy that and I believe I would as well.”
“Obviously, I don’t seem to care.” A snort escaped his lips, “What I chose to do is not something you should consider, but rather I am doing what I want to do. if you don’t like it? Well, we might have a problem.”
Revan sighed, her head dropping again, though this time she reached to catch him in her arms and tug him into her embrace. Leaning her head against him, she gave another sigh. “Yes, I can see how that would be considered betrayal. But you can’t blame him for running away, not after what they did to him.”
She pulled away then, though she stayed close. “I’m…not quite sure I know what use he has for me that you would find repulsive. And you can’t say you didn’t expect me to protect him.”
Kader couldn’t help, but scoff after she let go. Yes, he enjoyed her embrace, but he didn’t enjoy having to be told what he should or shouldn’t expect, “Really, Mother?” He asked with a scoff.
“Do you really think that running solves anything? No, it doesn’t solve anything, and all it does is simply cause more problems.” He then chewed on the inside of his lip, “If I could leave the Knights I would, but I can’t…. you know that.”
She narrowed her eyes and let out a hiss at the use of her name rather than mother. Oh, that stung, but she was quick to cover it up. “You’re just as bad as your stepbrother Arcann. And I don’t like your tone either.”
Revan gave a harsh laugh. “Oh, yes, things will change once we get bodies. We will return and put our arrogant son in his proper place.”
Oh, that was rich — richer than he had even expected, “Proper place?” He couldn’t even stop himself from full out laughing, “Your proper place is in the ground, but do tell..”
He gestured toward himself, “Tell me what is my proper place?”
“Xylek’s son.” He stated in a matter of fact tone, “You are also the Scavenger that Lord Ren is looking for. I find it… amusing, but also concerning at the same time.”
“Oh, you’re not a usurper are you? Your father and I, as well as quite a number of others on Zakuul and elsewhere, would beg to differ. After all, the definition is of someone who seizes a throne, usually by violence. It doesn’t matter that you were intended to gain it eventually. The fact that you killed us to get it has condemned you in the eyes of many.” Revan replied.
“Condemned me? I am not a usurper, this is my place, and you won’t take it from me, Revan.” He hissed out the name like acid, “I would have eventually obtained it, but for now? No, I don’t think I care for your tone.”
There was a pause, “When you get your bodies back, things my change, but for now? This Empire is mine.”
“No, I don’t mean that you should leave. Your mother is too fond of you and she’ll send someone after you. No, you can’t just take what you want…but perhaps if you had allies…on both the inside and the outside…“ Vaylin smirked and she leaned slightly closer to her younger stepbrother. “You understand what I mean, don’t you?”
“I do know what you mean. If I got the Knights to side with me as well as others.” He rubbed at his chin for a moment, “We might be onto something… I can get my contacts in the Order to help, but getting the people on my side might be another problem fully.”
Revan turned to look at her son, a frown tugging at the corners of her mouth. “Did you say why?” she asked, even as she gestured for him to come closer to her.
“He didn’t say why.” He grumbled out, “All he said is that he was going and with out me.” Kader than rolled his eyes as he moved towards her, “I don’t know why he left… he should have took me.”
Kader leaned back against one of the walls with a grunt, Malak was gone on mission, and Kader wasn’t allowed to go with him. In truth, he would have wanted to go with his father, but he was ordered to not follow him, and that was something he couldn’t even deal with.
“He left me home again.” He hissed out, “It’s not FAIR!”
Revan didn’t even bat an eye as her son snuggled her, despite the fact that she was in the midst of a particularly difficult negotiations. Instead, her arms wrapped around Kader, one hand moving to gently pet his hair.
A light purr escaped Kader’s lips as he moved to lean into her hand, “I love you mommy.” He muttered out as lightly as possible.
She was told to meet a fellow Sith off the Starkiller, for training purposes. Though she felt she was more than capable, the normally armored woman was not in her armor, as there was no need to hide who or what she was.
As she waited, she mediated, something she frequently did so she would not lose direction in the force. After all, a Sith was not a Sith if they flirted with the light side.
Footsteps brought her back and she opened her eyes, greeting the man who stepped in front of her.
“Greetings, Brother.”
In the long run, everyone had to do their jobs, and as much as Kader hated the very idea of having to meet with someone for training? It seemed that he couldn’t very well ignore the request today. Not that it mattered much, he would have followed the Order no matter what, but he didn’t really have to enjoy it.
A deep sigh escaped his lips as he stood before the other even though his tone had a slight amount of annoyance, “Yes, greetings.”
Kader let out a grunt, he was ‘forced’ to be checked out after the explosion that happened due to his idiotic attempt to rewire his own lightsaber. Yes, it looked like he wasn’t exactly skilled in making them, but at least he was able to get the blasted thing away from him just before it did explode… mostly at least.
“And what exactly is it that you intend to do with me?” It’s not like she could actually resist if someone wanted to user her, but she liked pretending that she could. She glared at the other boy- she only ever joined someone dark because he swore to protect her && she hadn’t really thought about what would happen after they were gone. In fact, she avoided thinking about that at all costs. She always just assumed that she’d be going back into a corner and would be found by another force user eventually, then she’d start over, maybe be good.
The idea of what he might do was quite interesting for the most part; he could have done many things to the other, but he was at least going to try to be half way decent to her. After all, if he was going to obtain her? He had to prove he was at least somewhat kind.
“My father’s time is coming sooner than you think and you? You’re my birthright. A blackcore is very rare these days, but the moment Wyndel is going? You are mine… do remember that.”
